What is a Bricked Phone?
A bricked device doesn't get beyond booting or doesn't even boot making it as useful as a brick. A soft brick is fixable as it has only affected your software not your firmware. A hard brick is costly to fix, it often costs more to fix than getting a brand new phone.

- Soft Brick: a soft brick is still able to boot but never finishes booting
- Hard Brick: a hard brick will never boot

You have now lost everything so don't try to make a backup
How to fix a Bricked XPERIA
Method 1, this method only works if you haven't modded your XPERIA
1. Open Sony PC Companion
2. Start Support Zone
3. Click phone/tablet software update
4. Click repair my phone/tablet
5. Click continue
6. Tick the tick box and click next
7. After it has finished preparing your computer click on your XPERIA
8. Connect your XPERIA in flash mode
9. Wait for it to finish fixing your XPERIA and reboot
You have now fixed your XPERIA
Method 2
1. Go to the firmware page
2. Download the firmware for your device
3. Download and install Flash Tool Download
4. Go to this folder Flashtool > Devices, open the folder that is your device and copy loader.sin
5. Download and install WinRar Download
6. Open the firmware you downloaded with WinRar and paste loader.sin
7. Copy your firmware to Flashtool > Firmwares
8. In Flash Tool click Flash device
9. Choose Flash Mode
10. Select your firmware and exclude Baseband
11. Connect your XPERIA in Flash Mode
12. Wait for Flash Tool to finish and disconnect from your computer and reboot
You have now fixed your XPERIA
